How does the Sussex Internship Programme work?

The Sussex Internship Programme represents a real opportunity to get that first step on the ladder of your chosen career.

The scheme offers financially-supported placements within a broad range of companies across East Sussex and West Sussex to graduates from 2008, 2009 or 2010.

How do I get started?

If you are thinking of registering then follow these steps:

STEP 1: Check that you are eligible for the programme

To be eligible you must have either:

  • graduated with a Bachelor's or Master's degree from a university or affiliated college in East Sussex or West Sussex in 2008, 2009 or 2010

or

  • graduated with a Bachelor's or Master's degree from any other UK university in 2008, 2009 or 2010 AND have a permanent address in East Sussex or West Sussex.

Please note: If you are currently studying for your Bachelor's or Master's degree and will graduate in the summer of 2010 you are now eligible for this internship programme.

STEP 2: Search for an internship

To view all the latest internships go to the Internships Search. You can search `By Sector`, `By Role`, `By Location` and `By Keyword`.

There are many different roles available including design, marketing, project management, HR and PR within a range of sectors including environmental, engineering, finance, manufacturing and media.

New internships are added every day.

STEP 3: Register for the programme

You must register for the programme BEFORE you can apply for any of your chosen internships. When you register you can also sign up for Internship Alerts to instant information on the latest roles.

STEP 4: Apply for an internship

You must apply online, through this website. You will need to include your CV and covering letter with your online application.
